Entry-level account position

Our entry-level position for recent college grads (out of school for a year or less) is staff associate. As a staff associate, you’ll work with and learn from some of the best communications professionals in the business. Staff associate tasks include writing, event planning, print and digital media monitoring for clients, media pitching, research, and more. We interview for these positions year round.


Mid-level and senior-level account positions

Junior Developer

MP&F is looking to add a junior web developer to our award-winning creative services team. This position is for someone who is passionate about creating highly polished web-based user experiences and is also willing to get out from behind the screen and meet with clients. The ideal candidate has the ability to effectively articulate ideas and concepts; to be creative, accurate, and productive while balancing projects and deadlines; and to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This developer will collaborate with our team of designers to create, enhance and implement new web designs (and email campaigns) using HTML, CSS Javascript, jQuery and XML for a variety of clients. Additionally, this developer must demonstrate knowledge of PHP, WordPress, Bootstrap, Adobe Creative Suite and Mailchimp. Knowledge of Drupal and Nationbuilder is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related discipline or equivalent preferred
Certification in web development, object-oriented programming language such as Java preferred

Creative Services Internship

MP&F is seeking a qualified, full-time graphic design intern who is creative, organized and self-motivated to assist our creative services team. This is a full time position (40 hours per week), lasting up to six months.

Our interns are college juniors, seniors or graduate students that take on a variety of projects including research, writing assignments, social media, integrated marketing and analytics, while being assigned to specific client teams. Students applying for a fall or spring internship must be able to dedicate at least 20 hours a week. Students applying for a summer internship must be able to work 40 hours a week.

Application Deadlines: October 31 (Spring), March 15 (Summer) and July 15 (Fall).
Start Dates: January–May (Spring), May–August (Summer) and August–December (Fall)



Diversity Fellowship Program

Diversity Fellowship
The Diversity Fellowship Program offers college seniors, recent graduates and graduate students from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to gain experience in public relations, marketing and digital media. Diversity fellows participate in guided mentorship and professional development while working on client teams to hone communications skills such as research, writing and social media management. Fellows will work 30 to 40 hours/week for up to six months.
