Paid Media Specialist


MP&F Strategic Communications is seeking a paid media specialist to join our award-winning advertising, marketing and data analytics team. We are looking for a strategic thinker to plan and execute integrated multi-channel campaigns across both digital and traditional paid media platforms, including target audience segmentation, performance optimization and budget management. The ideal candidate resides in Nashville or is willing to relocate to the area.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work with account teams, strategists, creatives and analysts to develop and execute paid media plans
  • Develop and manage paid social, programmatic, display, and direct campaigns
  • Assist with third-party media buying, including television, radio, streaming platforms, outdoor, newspaper and local print publications
  • Monitor campaign performance across multiple platforms and provide recommendations to adjust marketing and media buying strategies for optimal results
  • Identify target audiences using behavioral data and build custom audience segments in digital and social platforms
  • Identify and implement testing methodologies to improve conversion rates and optimize campaign results
  • Report results, findings, insights and recommendations to teammates and clients
  • Aid in educating the digital and marketing teams on best practices and data-driven techniques

Qualifications and Key Attributes:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in a digital/social, marketing, or strategy role
  • Experience with managing paid advertising campaigns on Facebook/Instagram required; experience with SEM, programmatic ads, and other social ad platforms including YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok and LinkedIn preferred
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Display Network, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics a plus
  • Strong knowledge of conversion tracking and pixels
  • Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Possess a creative approach to solving marketing challenges with media
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and data-driven
