NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 20, 2026) – MP+F has expanded its team with the addition of Erica Mikrut, Vice President, Creative Director; Karie Thornton, Senior Strategist;  and Liz Tarry, Director of Creative Strategy. The additions further strengthen the agency’s strategic, creative and integrated marketing capabilities following the addition of nearly 20 new clients so far in 2026 and continued investment in its integrated full-service offerings.

Erica Mikrut joins MP+F with more than a decade of experience as a copywriter and brand storyteller, helping shape campaigns and brand voices for clients including Jack Daniel’s, Chinet, Nashville International Airport and Gatlinburg Tourism. Her background includes agency leadership roles, where she developed strategic narratives and creative campaigns for local, regional and national brands. Erica’s addition will bolster the agency’s brand strategy, campaign messaging and content development capabilities, helping clients define their voice and connect with consumers in meaningful ways.

Karie Thornton joins the agency’s media team with 20 years of experience in media planning, advertising strategy, broadcast and digital media. Her addition comes as more clients are seeking integrated advertising, media planning and paid media services as part of MP+F’s full-service communications offerings. Most recently, she served as a Senior Strategic Account Manager at Nexstar Media Group, where she developed integrated advertising strategies and helped clients maximize their marketing investments across traditional and digital platforms. As a Senior Strategist, Karie will work alongside MP+F’s integrated teams to develop and execute strategic advertising initiatives for clients.

Liz Tarry joins MP+F in the newly created role of Director of Creative Strategy. She most recently led creative, sales and marketing efforts for Nashville-based TailGate Brewery and previously developed content strategies for nationally recognized brands. Her expertise spans branding, integrated marketing and creative strategy, and she brings years of experience steering creative teams on both sides of the agency table. In her new role, Liz will help clients sharpen how their brands show up in the world, partnering with teams across the agency to move ideas from whiteboard to launch.

“The additions come during a period of growth for MP+F,” said Kate Chinn, Managing Partner. “Over the past year, the agency expanded its leadership team, opened an office in Knoxville and continued to grow its integrated marketing, advertising and public relations services. The hires reflect the agency’s commitment to investing in senior-level talent as client needs continue to evolve.”
