Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville will host its fourth annual Hustle for the House 5K and McDonald’s of Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky 1-Mile Fun Run presented by Jackson on Sept. 20. The 5K race presented by Jackson and the 1-Mile Fun Run presented by McDonald’s of Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky begins and ends at the Nashville Ronald McDonald House on 2144 Fairfax Ave. and follows a colorful route through the Hillsboro–West End neighborhood. If, as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, then doesn’t it make sense to plan visuals for your social media stream? I can see a marked increase in engagement in my own blogs and Facebook posts when I use a photo or share a graphic. Often, the visual makes the first impression and draws the reader into the written story.
