Dant Crossing is a 350-acre destination in Gethsemane, Kentucky, anchored by the Log Still Distillery. The comprehensive campus features The Amp (a 2,000+ seat concert venue), a tasting room, a wedding venue, a 12-acre lake, and various lodging options, blending bourbon history with entertainment.
When Log Still Distillery came to us, they just had a logo, a lot of land, and an ambitious vision to build something Kentucky’s bourbon country had never seen. We helped turn that vision into a fully realized brand, from the first pour to a sold-out amphitheater.

The Challenge
Starting From the Ground Up
When Log Still Distillery approached us to tell their story, there wasn’t much there. Figuratively or physically. They had a logo and a lot of land. There was no distillery. There was no bourbon. Only an ambitious vision to launch a premium spirits brand and tourism destination unlike anything Kentucky’s bourbon country had ever seen.
So, we quickly stoked the coals under the still.

The Work
We Didn’t Just Tell The Story. We Built It.
To properly tell the Log Still tale, we focused our digital, social and PR messages on founders Wally, Lynne and Charles Dant to reinforce their local roots and commitment to faith, family and giving back to the community.
Within one year, we had introduced the distillery’s first premium spirits, helped open their world-class Tasting Room, promoted the property’s unique lodging options and successfully cut the ribbon on a 2,000-seat amphitheater, complete with sold-out shows.

The results
Success, Served Neat.
Visits and visitors to the Log Still Distillery and Dant Crossing websites have consistently grown by double or even triple digits since launch. Earned media coverage has spanned The New York Times, Louisville Courier Journal, Southern Living, Washington Post, Kentucky Monthly, Bourbon Lens, Whiskey Wash, The Bourbon Show, the Lexington Herald-Leader and more.
The work earned recognition, too. The website took home Best in Show at the Nashville American Advertising Awards and a Parthenon Award from PRSA Nashville.
Needless to say, we celebrated with a short glass of Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey.
