After more than three decades and experience at six agencies, Tom Cocke landed at his latest, and greatest, role at MP+F as vice president, executive creative director overseeing creative for the agency’s many clients. He’s worked at big and small shops in Atlanta, Charlotte, and Nashville. His client experience covers almost every category from consumer goods to insurance, QSR, banking and beyond. Delta Air Lines, Cracker Barrel, Chinet, RBC Bank and Farm Bureau Insurance are just a few brands he’s contributed to. He’s written for every medium and some that don’t even exist anymore.
Originally from Sewanee, Tennessee, Tom graduated from Washington & Lee University and did postgrad ad-school at the Portfolio Center Atlanta. He began his career at Tracy Locke and BBDO in Atlanta with other stops at Wray Ward, Charlotte, and Buntin, Nashville. Along the way, he’s been honored by The One Show, Communication Arts, Clios, OBIEs, EMMYs, Jay Chiat Awards and ADDYs. A three-time Nashville Copywriter of the Year, he’s also judged the EFFIEs, National ADDYs and many other local award shows.
