Lillie Mitchell stepped into her role as account coordinator at MP+F after interning with the team in the summer of 2025. She graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Tech in the spring of 2026, earning dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in public relations and sociology, along with an Honors Laureate Diploma.
Before joining MP+F, Lillie completed internships with multiple agencies in her hometown of Roanoke, Virginia, including Eddy Alexander and AccessU, where she developed a passion for media relations, research and nonprofit work. She aided in social media content creation for a nonprofit client, pitched to local news stations and successfully earned event coverage, and conducted high-level research and media monitoring for a national healthcare client.
While at Virginia Tech, she demonstrated her commitment to the industry by securing her Certificate in Principles of Public Relations and leading the university’s PRSSA chapter as president, a role that included leading their involvement in the national Bateman Case Study Competition. She also spent a semester abroad studying sociology in Florence, Italy, studying how human relationships are impacted by culture, religion and demographic.
