Laura Haynes – a Huntsville, Ala., native and Auburn University graduate (War Eagle!) – joined the MP&F team in 2015. An account supervisor, she provides media relations strategy, storytelling, digital media strategy and support, event planning, and grassroots support to clients across a variety of industries at the national and local levels.
Throughout her years at MP&F, Laura has had the privilege of working on a number of award-winning client projects that impact the communities in which they serve. Each year, she works alongside client CSX to bring to life the Santa Train, an 80-year tradition that delivers 15 tons of gifts and winter accessories to families across Appalachia and ushers in the holiday season. She also worked with BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee on its opioid epidemic public awareness campaign, Don’t Be An Accidental Drug Dealer, which won the Public Relations Society of America Best of Silver Anvil.
Outside of client work, Laura is a part of MP&F’s talent development committee and serves as a mentor for our account coordinators. She is also a member of PRSA Nashville.
In her spare time, you can catch her exploring Nashville one trendy taco place and brewery at a time, reading, and hanging with her husband, kiddo and two pups.
