Julia Stough

Senior Account Executive
jstough@mpf.com

A native of Louisville, Ky., Julia Stough joined the MP&F team in January 2020, bringing with her a passion for creative content, collaborative client solutions and all things communication.

Julia has channeled these passions even further in her time at MP&F for a wide variety of clients, including Nokian Tyres, Western Governors University, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Aegis Sciences Corporation, Solstice Senior Living, Bone McAllester Norton and more. During her work on these teams, she has honed skills in copywriting, brand and communication strategy, and media relations in particular, securing local and national coverage across the business, health care and lifestyle industries. More recently, she has led earned media strategy for a number of clients in the spirits, tourism and hospitality industries, such as Tennessee Whiskey Trail, Nashville’s Acme Feed & Seed, and Log Still Distillery, based in Bardstown, Ky.

For Log Still, Julia helped the MP&F team build, launch and promote the distillery’s family of brands, including the distillery and spirit lines, host campus Dant Crossing, and its lodging, entertainment and event venues. In her role on the team, she assisted with social media management and content creation as well as an accompanying media relations strategy, unveiling Log Still to the public. The result was coverage in USA Today, the New York Times, Whiskey Advocate and more.

Julia graduated summa cum laude from Miami University (Ohio) in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in professional writing and a minor in marketing. Prior to joining MP&F, Julia worked as an account executive for Tandem Public Relations in Louisville, where her work covered several industries including nonprofits, hospitality and the performing arts, for organizations like Kentucky Performing Arts, the YMCA of Greater Louisville, AC Hotel NuLu and more.

Outside of the office, Julia enjoys testing out the many local food options, listening to live music, and watching any and all sports (enduring the highs and lows of cheering on her beloved Kentucky Wildcats and Tennessee Titans).
