Branding and Media OutreachNine rural Tennessee towns located along a national scenic byway banded together under the same goal: increase visibility and tourism. Our role? Brand these beautiful areas as one entity and create a tourist destination out of something so nontraditional.
The MP&F team created the brand identity for the Sequatchie Valley, reimagined the website, bolstered the brand’s social media presence and launched an advertising campaign for the new tourist destination. This combined effort drove awareness to the rural area, which saw an increase in tourism dollars.
Results
- Reached over 287k users, gained 1.7k followers and reached over 5k post engagements across Instagram and Facebook
- Maintained engagement rates well above industry averages for both platforms
- Generated 11k+ ad clicks to the refreshed website
After setting the foundation for the destination, we then trained the communities to better deliver their tourism efforts and ensure the Sequatchie Valley continues to draw visitors.
