NASHVILLE – Families wanting to make healthy living fun for their children will be able to do just that this Saturday at Opry Mills. The Simon Kidgits Club of Opry Mills will host Simon Kidgits Health and Wellness on Saturday, Sept. 19, from noon to 2 p.m. Attendees will be able to play energetic games along with learning how to make healthy snacking choices and why healthy eating is so important.
Fun activities will include fitness activities with the Nike Factory Store, healthy snack craft projects from the Aquarium Restaurant, and interactive games with Dave & Buster’s and the Rainforest Café. Lipscomb University will provide information on healthy living, and there will be a giveaway from Build-A-Bear Workshop.
The Simon Kidgits Club is a fun and informative program that focuses on health, wellness, education, safety and entertainment for children ages 2 to 12. The club hosts regular events and activities for both parents and children while providing incentives for members, such as special offers, rewards and games.
