Nashville FC Season Ticket Reservations Surpass 1,500

Owners of Nashville FC, Nashville’s new United Soccer League franchise unveiled last week, announced Thursday that they have surpassed 1,500 season tickets reserved in six days. “We knew Nashville was ready for professional soccer, and Nashvillians have responded in ways we couldn’t have imagined,” said Chris Redhage, co-owner of DMD Soccer, which operates the USL franchise. “We still have a lot of steps on this journey between now and our first match in 2018, but we’re off to a running start.” The franchise made reservations available last Friday, when the team revealed it had acquired the Nashville FC name, logo …

USL Formally Welcomes Nashville to the League

The United Soccer League formally welcomed its new Nashville franchise to the league today in a downtown public celebration that included Nashville Mayor Megan Barry and the team’s ownership group. The franchise revealed that the team would be known as Nashville FC and would immediately begin accepting ticket deposits for its inaugural 2018 campaign. Armonías: Music Brings Two Cultures Together in Nashville

The From the Heart International Education Foundation (FTH) of Nashville, in collaboration with the Blues Kids Foundation of Chicago, will host a group of 44 music students from two small towns in Colombia, South America, from June 26 through July 9 in Nashville for Armonías, an international music and culture exchange. The music students, ages 10 to 14, from Mompox and Santa Rosa in the department of Bolívar, Colombia, will join Nashville students from the FTH music program for multiple performances and will also collaborate on and record a CD.
