MP&F Public Relations Becomes MP&F Strategic Communications

MP&F Public Relations Becomes MP&F Strategic Communications

By MP&F Staff

MP&F Public Relations is now MP&F Strategic Communications. The staff-driven rebrand is a nod to the agency’s growing service areas and integrated approach to helping clients achieve their business and organizational goals.

MP&F Strategic Communications

“For 31 years, MP&F has been a public relations firm providing multifaceted communications services to help our clients achieve their goals,” said David Fox, managing partner. “This name change is a reinforcement of the broad scope of services we offer and the work our team does every day to integrate public relations with the latest strategies in advertising, marketing, digital strategy, and design and web services.”

MP&F is the largest independent public relations and strategic communications firm in Tennessee and one of the largest in the Southeast. The agency, which marked its best year in company history in 2017, has a roster of more than 100 clients from across the country. It is also the founding member of the Tennessee Public Relations Alliance, a collective of public relations agencies based in Tennessee’s major markets.

“Every day, our team marries the art of great public relations work, branding and design with the data-driven science of marketing and advertising,” said MP&F partner Alice Chapman. “This approach allows our clients to work with one agency to meet their communications needs.”

MP&F has a staff of more than 70 working out of its Nashville headquarters, including more than 50 account staff members and a design team of eight. The agency has received hundreds of regional and national industry awards, has been recognized numerous times as a top workplace, and maintains a client satisfaction score of 99 percent. MP&F has internship, entry-level and diversity fellowship programs, all of which are devoted to developing and growing talent.

The rebrand comes on the heels of several major announcements from MP&F in the last year, including the additions of Mary Elizabeth Davis, former managing editor of Southern Living, as the company’s Creative Services director and Knight Stivender as its first director of Integrated Marketing. Veteran team member Jennifer Brantley was named a partner in October 2017, joining Mark McNeely, Keith Miles, Katy Varney, Chapman and Fox in leading the company. Senior and founding partner Mark McNeely will launch communications consultancy McNeely Brockman Public Relations, located in-house at MP&F, in June.

MP&F’s service offerings include advertising, advocacy/grassroots, branding, community relations, crisis communications, digital and social media, event management, graphic design, influencer outreach, integrated marketing, internal communications, media relations, public relations, research and analytics, video, and website development services.
