MP&F Caps Banner Year With Its Best Showing at Parthenon Awards

By MP&F Staff

MP&F earned seven Parthenon Awards and 14 awards of merit. The 21 awards covered 13 different categories, including research, media relations, audiovisual, new media, special events, crisis communications, internal communications, brand management and PR campaigns.

MP&F’s NashvilleNext team, led by MP&F Senior Account Executive and former Tennessean reporter Colby Sledge, won eight awards, including four Parthenons. It was the best awards performance by one MP&F client team at a Parthenon Awards competition. Other multiple winners included MP&F efforts on behalf of Kirkland’s (four), WGU Tennessee (three), the U.S. Department of Labor’s Job Corps program (two) and BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee (two).

Twenty-one of the firm’s 25 entries received an award, marking MP&F’s best success rate (84 percent) at the Parthenon Awards.

“We’re thrilled to be recognized by our peers in this way,” MP&F Senior Partner Mark McNeely said. “We’re also thrilled with the diversity of these awards across many disciplines. That speaks to who we are as a full-service marketing communications firm.”

The annual Parthenon Awards, sponsored by the Nashville chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, recognizes the past year’s best public relations programs and projects from professionals and students in Middle Tennessee. The awards ceremony was held Tuesday night at Houston Station.
