Matthew Bates, a Franklin native, joined MP&F in January 2023 as a data analyst. As a graduate from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, he has always had a passion for understanding consumer behavior and using data to drive business decisions. Since graduation, his career has taken him into multiple industries where he has helped employers increase operational efficiency by finding actionable, data-driven insights throughout company procedures.
At MP&F, Matthew works with a variety of clients, including the U.S. Department of Labor’s Job Corps program, the University of Tennessee–Knoxville and Solstice Senior Living. Committed to helping clients achieve their goals, Matthew leverages his knowledge of statistical techniques and forecasting of future outcomes to allow clients to make informed decisions about their business.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys staying up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and best practices. A self-described foodie, he loves trying new restaurants around Nashville with his fiancée. He is also a sports enthusiast, and loves to play and watch different sports in his spare time.
