Originally from Knoxville, Tenn., Lydia Henry joined MP&F as an assistant account executive in July of 2021. She previously worked as a public relations specialist for Moxley Carmichael, a Knoxville-based communications firm and Tennessee Public Relations Alliance partner. She has experience in media relations and writing, social media strategy and analytics, market research, and web management. While in Knoxville, Lydia served as director-at-large and digital media and publicity chair for the Volunteer PRSA chapter and communications chair for Knoxville Volunteer Rotary Club. She also was an active member of Young Professionals of Knoxville.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations and a minor in marketing from Belmont University in May 2019. In college, she was an active leader in Belmont’s Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) chapter, serving as vice president of Communication, vice president of Professional Development and president. She also served as communications specialist for Belmont Wesley Fellowship and now serves as a board member for the campus ministry.
At MP&F, Lydia’s client teams include the U.S. Department of Labor’s Job Corps program, Solstice Senior Living, Galileo Preparatory Academy, Launch Tennessee and Lifeway.
Before joining the MP&F team, Lydia traveled across the country with her husband to visit 13 states and 10 national parks and elope in Palos Verdes, Calif. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and planning her next adventure, playing with her rescue pup Stevie, and exploring local restaurants, coffee shops, breweries and shops.
