Who will win in the East vs. West matchup? Mike Organ with The Tennessean has the news in his Sunday column, Midstate Chatter.

PGA Tour winner Scott Stallings, a former junior golfer in the state, will serve as host for the Tennessee Junior Cup, which will be played next Saturday and Sunday at The Grove near Franklin.

Stallings, who played at Tennessee Tech and is a Knoxville resident, has three Tour victories.

The Junior Cup pits the top golfers from the East and the West.

Some of the local players who will compete for the East include Cooper Sears from Old Hickory, Nolan Ray from Brentwood, Meghann Stamps from Hendersonville and for the West Hunter Walcott from Burns, Scotty Hudson and Grayson Davis from Franklin, Brock Ochsenreiter from Nashville, Riley Rennell from Columbia and Hanley Long from Clarksville.
