Nashville native and business and community leader Kate Chinn joined MP&F as a partner in 2022, bringing a wealth of global corporate knowledge and experience.

Kate came to the firm after four years with AllianceBernstein, where she served as vice president of community and civic engagement. During her tenure, she established the firm’s community engagement presence in Nashville and replicated the program in Asia, Europe and New York.

Prior to joining AB, she served as senior vice president at the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and senior director of marketing for Tishman Speyer in New York City, where she oversaw marketing, branding and growth strategy for iconic properties such as Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Center and the Rainbow Room. She also held marketing roles for several digital and consumer publications, including iVillage, Rodale and Wenner Media.

Kate serves on several boards, including the United Way of Greater Nashville, the Nashville Public Education Foundation and Harpeth Hall School. She is a graduate of the Leadership Nashville class of 2022 and is serving as program chair for the 2022–23 class.

She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
