Julia Hedgepath, originally from Florence, Ala., has spent most of her life in Nashville. She joins MP&F after 10 years of substitute teaching in Metro Nashville Public Schools. Before that, Hedgepath worked with Fridrich and Associates in both their insurance and real estate offices. She has managed West Nashville United Methodist Church Soup Kitchen, served as PTO president at Brookmeade Elementary and has held weekly in-home community art classes for children. Julia also volunteers at Hands on Nashville and participates in silent auction activities throughout Nashville by donating her self-made artwork.

Julia attended Watkins School of Design and Tennessee State University.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two children and grandchild. She also loves creating and selling new art pieces, traveling and quality time with family and friends.
