Originally from Fayetteville, N.C., Shawna McIntosh joined MP&F as a staff associate in June of 2019 after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. (Go, Heels!) In college, she majored in public relations through the School of Media and Journalism and minored in public policy. Her background includes having worked for two summers as the communications and community relations intern for her hometown utility company, the Fayetteville Public Works Commission, interning for UNC’s communications department, and serving as the campus’s alumni, marketing and public relations coordinator for the organization Camp Kesem.

At MP&F, Shawna’s client teams include the U.S. Department of Labor’s Job Corps program, PhRMA, the Tennessee District Attorneys General Conference and the website team for Integral Senior Living. She also loves spending time doing pro bono work for Saddle Up, Justice for Abu and the Tennessee Kidney Foundation.

Shawna is always looking for an excuse to travel and spend time outside during her free time. You can often find her running around East Nashville, going to early morning spin classes, attending concerts at any of this city’s awesome venues, or checking out restaurants, events and stores recommended over Instagram by Nashville Guru, Nashville Eats and The Nashville Guide.
