Mary Ruth Raphael is a senior vice president at MP&F Strategic Communications, where she leads national and regional communications campaigns and supports overall management of the agency, including marketing and business development efforts. She joined MP&F in 2001.

Mary Ruth manages the company’s work for its largest client, the U.S. Department of Labor’s Job Corps program, which includes nationwide marketing, advertising and communications initiatives targeted toward low-income 16- through 24-year-olds and their parents, community leaders, and employers.

She has worked on multiple high-profile campaigns during her time at MP&F, including leading the nationally award-winning Meth Destroys statewide awareness campaign on behalf of the state’s district attorneys.

Mary Ruth’s accolades include the Olympus Award for leadership from the Nashville chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Nashville Emerging Leader Award for Public Relations, Advertising and Marketing. She serves on the steering committee for Williamson Inc.’s Women in Business and volunteers with Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee. She is a former president of PRSA Nashville and a 2017 graduate of Leadership Brentwood.

A Middle Tennessee native, Mary Ruth is a graduate of the University of Tennessee.
