Kate Trotter, a native of Little Rock, Ark., graduated in 2014 from Vanderbilt University, where she studied sociology and Spanish and minored in environmental science. While in college, Trotter interned at North Star Destination Strategies, Inc., in Nashville and took design classes at Watkins College of Art and Design. After graduation, she lived in Madrid, Spain, where she completed a graphic design program at Aula Creativa. Trotter then moved to Little Rock to work part time as a graphic designer at a private school and part time at a digital marketing agency. She returned to Nashville in 2016 for a position at the Music City Center, where she worked on large graphic design and social media projects including the Fresh Pick Market & Café logo and the convention center’s five-year anniversary campaign. Trotter serves as the secretary for the Nashville chapter of AIGA. At MP&F, she works on the Nashville Public Education Foundation, Williamson Medical Center and the U.S. Department of Labor’s Job Corps program.
