Annakate Tefft Ross

Director, Digital Services


Annakate Tefft Ross joined MP&F in 2013 as the director of digital services. In this role, Annakate develops strategies to best leverage digital tools to achieve client goals. This includes developing digital marketing strategies, implementing social media campaigns, building out client-owned channels like websites and blogs, creating customized trainings for client teams, and executing digital audits. She also specializes in monitoring and measurement consulting, where she identifies the best tools and tactics to create meaningful results. During her time at MP&F, Annakate has worked for clients across industries including the U.S. Department of Labor’s Job Corps program, AT&T Tennessee, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, the American Contract Bridge League, The Hermitage, oneC1TY, the Renaissance Nashville Hotel, Griffin Technology, and many others.

Annakate has nearly 15 years of experience in communications and marketing. She began her public relations career in Chicago, working for a boutique agency, and then for Weber Shandwick, a large global agency. During this time, her clients included McCormick Spices, the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, The Campbell Soup Company and The Quaker Oats Company. In 2012, under Annakate’s leadership,’s news outreach cycle was named Best Digital Newsroom by PR Daily’s Digital PR & Social Media Awards. She is a member of Class 61 of the Young Leaders Council, serves on the YLC board, and was nominated for a Nashville Emerging Leader Award (NELA) in the Technology Category in 2014 and 2015. She also serves on the Plant the Seed Board.

Annakate, who grew up in a rural area near Columbus, Ohio, earned her bachelor’s degree from Miami (Ohio) University in speech communication with a minor in Spanish. She is an excellent whistler.
