Assistant Account Executive
Alex has spent the last three and a half years in Washington, D.C., working at two government relations firms, Forbes-Tate Partners and Balch & Bingham, and for the Subcommittee on Indian, Insular and Alaska Native Affairs for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Natural Resources.
While working for the committee, he prepared numerous floor speeches and briefing memos and staffed congressional hearings relating to major issues in Indian Country and the Insular territories, such as Puerto Rico and American Samoa. Some of the main legislative focuses of his time in Washington, D.C., were the Puerto Rican Electric Power Authority’s management crisis, federal mismanagement of the Indian Health Service and restoring fiscal independence to Indian Country.
He graduated in 2015 from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. During his time at Auburn, he worked in fundraising for the American Cancer Society and interned for the U.S. Senate.
