Leigh Lindsey, APR, is a senior vice president with MP&F Strategic Communications, where she manages many of the agency’s longest-standing client accounts, produces award-winning communications work, provides coaching to junior staff members, and supports the agency’s marketing and business development efforts. Leigh’s expertise includes integrated strategies, crisis communications, media relations, branding, internal communications and corporate social responsibility for clients including the Tennessee Distillers Guild, Tennessee Whiskey Trail, Log Still Distillery and CSX.
Leigh has won numerous staff-nominated awards, including staff MVP, Hardest Worker and Best Media Pitcher. She was the 2019 recipient of the Like Mike Award, named after the late Mike Pigott in celebration of a staff member who does good work for others and the community without being asked or seeking recognition.
In the communications industry, Leigh serves as immediate past president of PRSA Nashville. She previously served as Nashville’s representative to the PRSA National Assembly, public service chair, programs chair and accreditation (APR) co-chair. She received the PRSA Nashville Mercury Award for leadership through accelerated professional growth and service to the public relations profession and Olympus Award for leadership in the industry. Leigh, a two-time Nashville Emerging Leader Award finalist, also mentors aspiring communications professionals through the Belmont University GROW mentorship program and serves as a member of the Board of Advisors for Lipscomb University’s Department of Communications and Journalism.
Leigh is a board member and the marketing committee chair for Safe Haven Family Shelter. She previously served on the boards of the League of Women Voters of Nashville, Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue and Book’em, for which she also served as board president.
