Junior Copywriters at MP&F Strategic Communications are, first and foremost, creative thinkers with strategic minds. Naturally, they must have excellent writing and research skills as a contributing member of the creative team. But they must also possess concepting abilities in addition to their copy communication skills. Junior Copywriters will write and edit content for a variety of projects (including print, web, mobile, video, and social media), working closely with art directors and designers in teams to develop concepts and articulate messaging. Writers will produce work that communicates directly to target audiences while achieving the client’s full marketing objectives. The most successful copywriters will be quick learners, yet knowledgeable on day one, with versatile writing styles. This role demands a blend of creativity, precision, and a passion for storytelling—both short and long form.
Responsibilities:
- Concept ideas as a team member with art directors and designers
- Research content as needed per the assignment
- Write compelling content for print, web, product packaging, advertising, and social media
- Define key messages and brand voice for external communications
- Produce well-written content that is SEO friendly and optimized for conversion
- Create compelling ad copy, landing pages, and full marketing campaigns
- Write high-level product descriptions and provide supporting content
- Collaborate with Creative Directors and take criticism positively
- Collaborate with Account Executives (and other departments) to understand and achieve client goals
- Work with data analysts to ensure messaging is consistent and results driven
- Manage projects and juggle multiple deliverables while maintaining excellent timekeeping
- Inspire others within the agency to produce the highest-quality work obtainable

Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English,
or a related field - Post graduate ad-school training is an added benefit
- Passion for writing with proven experience as a Copywriter
- A portfolio showcasing a range of written content.
- Strong editorial, proofreading, and writing skills
- Familiarity with keyword research
- Experience with SEO copywriting best practices
- Experience with social media and content marketing
- Ability to adapt tone and style to match different clients and industries
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Client level presentation abilities as needed
