NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 3, 2019) – Top-tier entertainment business management firm FBMM has promoted Abby Middlemas from account executive to account manager. In this managerial position, she will focus on her clients’ financial goals, whether that’s budgeting for a tour, buying their first home or planning for retirement.
“Abby has been a valuable asset to our team for the past four years,” said FBMM owner Duane Clark. “She has proved herself a reliable resource to her clients, and has shown the depth of her financial management knowledge throughout her time here. We’re proud to have her on our team.”
Middlemas joined FBMM in March 2015. Prior to beginning her career at FBMM, she held a variety of different roles in management and fashion. Middlemas worked as an independent stylist for The Block Agency, and as a department manager at Nordstrom in California, managing a $5 million floor and a team of 12 employees. During her time at Nordstrom, she learned the ins and outs of managing money, and graduated from the Future Nordstrom Leader Program, through which select individuals are trained in management leadership skills.
Middlemas also worked for over a year as an underwriter at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, where she grew from managing $1 million to over $9 million of business. Middlemas graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign in 2010, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and a minor in business.
