
David Yunker, MP&F’s first front-end web developer, comes to MP&F with over 12 years of experience in the digital space. He spent the last year and a half as a web developer at Nashville-based QuaverMusic.com, where he headed the company’s communications and training web development efforts. His projects included the redesign of the company’s customer-facing site, and revamping the professional development experience for Quaver teachers and the portal for potential customers.
Prior to his role at QuaverMusic.com, he spent 11 years with The Tennessean in various positions, including copy editor, online content coordinator, homepage editor, chief producer, digital planning editor and digital producer. Yunker was a member of the Pulitzer Prize finalist team from the paper for its coverage of the May 2010 flood.
A native of Bartlett, Tenn., Yunker has lived in Nashville since graduating magna cum laude from the University of Missouri–Columbia with a Bachelor of Journalism degree. He is also a graduate of Nashville Software School.
