Dan Schlacter joined MP&F Public Relations in 2005. He enjoys the challenge of translating complex, industry-specific information into messages that connect with appropriate audiences in meaningful ways. Dan has led strategic communications projects for local, regional and national organizations in the health care and health care IT, government, public safety, education, workforce development, logistics and transportation, commercial real estate, and environmental conservation sectors.
Dan is comfortable working within corporate structures ranging from federal departments to local nonprofits. His experience draws on all aspects of MP&F’s communications services, including corporate communications, branding and messaging development, grassroots and grass-tops outreach, advocacy and awareness efforts, materials development, and digital media management. He can help you achieve your communications goals in print, online, during events or at the local grocery store’s deli counter.
Dan’s internal responsibilities at MP&F include a leadership position on the agency’s Marketing and Business Development committee and participation in the agency mentoring program. He has been recognized seven times in 11 years by his peers as the agency’s most innovative thinker and more regularly as a champion of breakfast foods (especially bagels). Dan is an active member of the Nashville Health Care Council’s Leadership Health Care program and is the philanthropy chairman/immediate past president of the Nashville Region Chapter of the University of Tennessee–Knoxville Alumni Association. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, he holds a B.A. degree in marketing.
