Amanda Gambill joined MP&F in January 2015. She works with a variety of national and local clients on media relations, event planning, nonprofit campaigns and community outreach. Her clients include the U.S. Department of Labor’s Job Corps program, the Metro Nashville Parks and Recreation department, BOUND|RY, and the Nashville Public Education Foundation – a winner of eight Nashville PRSA Parthenon awards and two IABC Awards of Excellence.

She graduated summa cum laude from Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and minors in business communication and women’s studies.

In college, Amanda interned at MP&F and the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and was a reporter at The Tennessean. She was also managing editor of Sidelines, the university’s editorially independent newspaper, and president of MTSU’s Public Relations Student Society of America chapter.

In her free time, Amanda finds herself talking to most people about the news, feminism, Netflix, Hulu and her cat, Crema.

Aleah Heinlein

Aleah Heinlein joined the MP&F team in January 2015 as a staff associate. A Wisconsin native, Aleah graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication arts and Spanish. While in school, she did public relations and marketing work for MODA Magazine and State Street Scooters. Aleah also wrote for UW–Madison’s student newspaper, The Daily Cardinal, and was involved in the school’s Public Relations Student Society of America chapter, where she served as vice president of marketing and publicity. Prior to joining MP&F, she was a public relations and marketing intern at the YWCA, where she worked on events, news releases, social media and benefactor relations.

At MP&F, Aleah provides support for a range of client teams, including national accounts such as the U.S. Department of Labor’s Job Corps program, Kirkland’s and BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee.

Ashley Heyen

Ashley Heyen

Ashley, from Gillespie, Ill., graduated summa cum laude from Belmont University in December 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations and a minor in music business. While at Belmont, Ashley participated in Bruin Recruiters, Service Corps and the Public Relations Student Society of America. She was also a campus tour guide and staff writer at Belmont’s school newspaper, the Vision.

Prior to joining MP&F, Ashley interned at Nashville Songwriters Association International, AristoMedia and Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools’ communications department. During her internships, she gained experience with writing and digital marketing. Ashley also interned at MP&F during her last semester at Belmont, working with clients such as Goozy Dessert Bar and Café and Feld Entertainment.

At MP&F, Ashley’s clients include the Tennessee Road Builders Association, the Tennessee District Attorneys General Conference and the U.S. Department of Labor’s Job Corps program. In her free time, she enjoys songwriting, watching movies and exploring the outdoors.

Morey Hill

A Nashville native, Morey Hill graduated from Washington and Lee University in May of 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in music. Morey joined MP&F in January of 2014 and has strong experience in media relations, messaging, social media and advertising. At MP&F, Morey works for a variety of clients, including CSX Transportation, the Ohio Valley Conference, WGU Tennessee and the U.S. Department of Labor’s Job Corps program.

Prior to his arrival at MP&F, Morey worked briefly for Moondance Adventures, where he led backpacking and rafting trips through the Pacific Northwest. In college, Morey gained writing experience through internships with the Shenandoah Literary Journal and Chapter 16, a website devoted to Tennessee literature.

Will Krugman

A Nashville native, Will graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He joined MP&F in 2013 and has strong experience in media and community relations, event planning, messaging, and digital media strategy. At MP&F, Will works for clients including Amazon, the U.S. Department of Labor’s Job Corps program and the Metro Transit Authority. He also is responsible for updating and maintaining the firm’s website.

Prior to joining MP&F, Will worked on the re-election campaign of U.S. Rep. Jim Cooper in 2012, and provided digital media consulting for Uloop, a network of online marketplaces and university news websites for college students.

Megan McConnell

Megan McConnell joined McNeely Pigott & Fox as a staff associate following an internship in 2014. Originally from McKinney, Texas Megan made the move to Nashville from the bustling city of Abilene, Texas, after graduating magna cum laude from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor of Science degree in advertising and public relations and a minor in business management in May 2014. While at ACU, she worked as an account director for the U.S. Department of State through Morris & Mitchell, a student-run advertising agency, and was a student writer for the department of public relations. She also interned with Make-A-Wish Georgia’s marketing communications department during the summer of 2013.

Megan's current MP&F clients include BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, CSX and Kirkland's. She has experience in blogger and traditional media relations, video editing and news writing.

Thomas Mulgrew

Thomas Mulgrew

Thomas Mulgrew joined MP&F in the fall of 2015 as an assistant account executive. Mulgrew, born and raised in Nashville, is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history.

 He came to MP&F after working for Nashville Mayor Megan Barry’s successful 2015 campaign.

 

Thomas returned to his hometown after living for a time in Georgia and New York City. After concentrating on performing and writing about music after college, he turned his attention to public relations, beginning with Workman Group Communications in NYC before moving back South.

  

When not working, he can be found either digging for hard-to-find vinyl around town or reading books on obscure historical figures. He DJs in his spare time.

Mara Naylor

Naylor, a Chattanooga, Tenn., native, joined MP&F in March 2012. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science degree in communication, majoring in public relations and obtaining a minor in business administration. Naylor interned with SourceYourCity to create and maintain local market prospect lists, write and edit news releases, and help manage social media channels for media relations efforts. She was also a tutor with the Martha O’Bryan Center at Bailey STEM Magnet Middle School.

While at the University of Tennessee, Naylor interned with Scripps Networks Interactive and was a marketing intern with UT athletics, where she helped implement sports promotion ideas to improve attendance at athletic events and integrated Facebook and Twitter for advertising at athletic events.

Jenny Pickard

Jenny Pickard

Pickard, a native of Huntsville, Ala., graduated from Auburn University in May 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in radio, television and film with a minor in marketing. While at Auburn, Pickard served as the assistant director of the University Programs Council’s Films Committee, where she budgeted, planned and executed free events for students on campus.

Her previous experience includes an editorial internship with Hollywood Life, where she conducted interviews, and wrote and researched articles. Pickard also interned with Krupp Kommunications, gaining experience in public relations and strategic communications.

Evan Wofford

Evan Wofford joined MP&F in March 2016. He graduated cum laude from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C., in 2012 with a degree in mass communication and a minor in religious studies.

In school, Evan worked at the university’s radio and TV stations, producing and hosting programs. A member of Kappa Tau Alpha, the journalism and mass communication honor society, he received an award from the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas for the best student sportscast in 2012. He also interned at public radio station WFAE-FM in Charlotte, N.C., where he helped produce local talk show “Charlotte Talks.”

After graduation, he worked at Ivanhoe Broadcast News in Orlando, Fla., overseeing the monthly production of two series of TV news packages for local stations across the country, writing news updates for the website and client stations and assisting with social media. He also worked part time backstage at the “Terminator 2” show at Universal Studios.

Evan moved to Nashville after spending time in Philadelphia and Greenville, S.C., where he managed social media channels for the Barbara Stone Foundation, worked at a used bookstore and helped craft communication for local political candidates. When not working, he can be found watching or reading about soccer, listening to LPs while wishing he had more, or waking up early to go running.
