Keith Miles joined MP&F in 1995 after careers in journalism and politics, becoming a partner in the firm in 1998. Keith specializes in technology, media relations, grassroots organization, strategic planning and governmental relations, and provides leadership and direction to the firm’s digital product – mp&f/d.

Keith’s clients cover financial services, real estate development, infrastructure, retail and manufacturing. He has consulted on grassroots organizing and government relations support for companies like FirstBank, Tennessee Bankers Association, Tennessee Road Builders Association, Mountain States Health Alliance, Metro Nashville Planning Department and Republic Services.

Prior to joining MP&F, he served eight years as press secretary and state coordinator for former U.S. Senator Jim Sasser and previously wrote for the Nashville Banner, Johnson City Press, Kingsport Times-News and other publications.

His civic involvement includes serving as a member of the board of directors for The Housing Fund and Nashville Education Cultural and Arts Television Network. Keith is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and Counselors Academy, and he has served on advisory committees for the communications departments at Middle Tennessee State University, Belmont University and East Tennessee State University.

Keith has been a contributor to national and regional publications, including The American Banker and Southern Exposure. He is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). Keith is active on the social media scene, maintaining several blogs and websites devoted to photography and music.

He and his wife, Cindy, reside in Nashville. He is a 1980 journalism graduate of East Tennessee State University.

Annakate Tefft Ross joined McNeely Pigott & Fox in 2013 as the director of digital services at mp&f/d, the firm’s digital and social media services division.

Annakate's role at the firm is to develop strategies to best leverage digital tools to achieve client communications goals. Work in this arena ranges from conceptualizing and implementing social media campaigns, developing client-owned channels - like websites and blogs - to connect with target audiences, creating customized trainings and executing digital audits. She also specializes in monitoring and measurement consulting, where she identifies the best tools and tactics to create meaningful results for clients and consumers alike. During her time at MP&F, Annakate has done work for clients across industries including the Department of Labor's Job Corps Program, AT&T Tennessee, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, the American Contract Bridge League, The Hermitage, oneC1TY, the Renaissance Nashville Hotel, Griffin Technology and others.

Annakate has more than 12 years of experience in public relations, social media strategy and integrated marketing. She began her public relations career in Chicago, working for a boutique agency, and then for Weber Shandwick, a large global agency. During this time her clients included McCormick Spices, the National Cattleman's Beef Association, The Campbell Soup Company and The Quaker Oats Company. After moving to Nashville, Annakate began specializing in social media and digital communications in-house in the startup and technology worlds at CareerBuilder.com, RunDaisy.com and JustAPinch.com.

In 2012, under Annakate’s leadership, JustAPinch.com’s news outreach cycle was named Best Digital Newsroom by PR Daily’s Digital PR & Social Media Awards, a national recognition. She is a member of Class 61 of the Young Leader’s Council, and was nominated for a Nashville Emerging Leader Award (NELA) in the Technology Category in 2014. She serves on the Girls on the Run Nashville Board.

Annakate, who grew up in a rural area near Columbus, Ohio, earned her bachelor’s degree from Miami (Ohio) University in speech communication with a minor in Spanish.
