NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 8, 2017) – Opry Mills has added three new fitness apparel retailers to its store offerings: Champs Sports, Asics and New Balance Factory Store.
Champs Sports, a member of the Foot Locker, Inc., family, is the most recent opening at Opry Mills. Champs is one of the largest mall-based retailers specializing in athletic footwear and apparel in North America.
Asics, an international brand focusing on high-performance athletic footwear and apparel, opened in April. This location marks the only official Asics store in the Nashville area.
New Balance, a Boston, Mass.-based athletic retailer, is a global leader in the athletic industry with over 200 retail locations. This New Balance Factory Store, the only one in Middle Tennessee, offers footwear, apparel and accessories for men, women and children at discounted rates. It opened in March.
All three new retailers are located between the Food Court and Sun & Ski.
These new offerings join a host of other fitness-related retailers available at Opry Mills, including Under Armour Factory House and NIKE Factory Store.

The openings are part of a series of recent enhancements to Opry Mills’ shopping, dining and entertainment offerings. They follow the openings of Abercrombie & Fitch Outlet, an international clothing retailer that focuses on providing high-quality casual merchandise, Francesca’s, a women’s clothing retailer, and Swarovski Crystal, a crystal jewelry and accessory brand.
Shoppers can now also enjoy the world’s first in-mall Madame Tussauds wax attraction and the mall’s newest dining addition, Bavarian Bierhaus, an authentic German restaurant and beer hall.
Shoppers will also have the unique opportunity to experience a moonshine tasting bar and a retail store full of bottled shines, apparel, jams, sauces and dry rubs at Distillers of Smith Creek Moonshine, opening in late May.
